We are building closed-loop adaptive optical systems—and looking for technology, engineering, and manufacturing partners to help bring them to life.

Optira is in active R&D. We are not listing partners here; we are inviting collaborators who want to integrate sensing, inference, and actuation into real hardware programs.

What We Need From a Partner Now

1. 01

   Lens material experimentation

   Access to ophthalmic-grade LC or tunable polymer samples at 8–12 mm aperture. Our system can validate any element against real-world performance requirements within days of receipt.

2. 02

   Prototype fabrication

   Custom LC cell fabrication to our electrode geometry and aperture specification. Research collaboration format or paid prototype engagement. We have the control system—we need the optical element.

3. 03

   Response-time characterisation

   Quantified mechanical response of candidate lens materials under our specific drive waveform. This data directly informs our control loop tuning and latency claims.

4. 04

   System integration testing

   Co-engineering sessions to integrate candidate lens elements with our driver IC and control PCB. We provide electronics, firmware, and test protocol. Shared results, shared IP pathway.
